Welcome to Blog Indiana
A big “thank you” goes out from the staff, IUPUI, and the co-founders of Blog Indiana, Shawn Plew & Noah Coffey, to all those who presented, attended, sponsored, and supported us in bringing BIN2010 to life. We understand it’s a challenge to take a break for a couple of days, but we truly hope we’ve made it a valuable experience for everyone!
The history of our blog 2008 – 2010
Blog Indiana LLC, an Indiana-based company, specializes in coordinating and promoting conferences, meetups, and various events related to social media.
The company originated from ongoing discussions between Noah Coffey and Shawn Plew, who noticed a lack of blogging and social media events in Indiana. After attending pricey conferences in neighboring states, they envisioned hosting an affordable conference in Indianapolis.
Our Bolg Origin
In January 2008, Shawn and Noah decided to turn their vision into reality. Encouraged by initial positive responses and support for the idea, they set a date, selected a venue, and secured a valuable initial sponsorship from the IU School of Informatics.

We’re already deep into the preparations for the 2023 conference. Exciting news: this year, everyone has the chance to influence the agenda by voting for their preferred session ideas at sessions.blogindiana.com. Get involved and shape the conference to reflect your interests!
